Strategic Cooperation with Fraunhofer IPA Stuttgart

ARRTSM enters a strategic cooperation with Fraunhofer IPA Stuttgart to develop a next-generation multirobotic manufacturing cell for autonomous industrial production.

Stuttgart, Germany – July 2017

ARRTSM is proud to announce a strategic cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (Fraunhofer IPA) in Stuttgart, Germany. Together, we are launching the development of a cutting-edge multirobotic manufacturing cell designed to redefine productivity, flexibility, and autonomy in industrial production.

Building the Next Generation of Multirobotic Manufacturing

The joint project focuses on creating an intelligent, fully integrated robotic cell capable of executing complex industrial operations, including:

  • Chip removal and precision machining
  • Automated nailing and fastening
  • Advanced processing of carbon-fibre composites
  • Synchronized multi-robot task execution

The system will combine multiple robotic units with advanced software intelligence, enabling coordinated, autonomous, and high-performance operation across diverse manufacturing environments.

A Powerful Research & Industry Collaboration

This cooperation unites ARRTSM’s expertise in autonomous robotic systems with Fraunhofer IPA’s world-class research in production technology, system integration, and industrial AI.

Beyond technology, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening Germany’s and Europe’s leadership in global manufacturing innovation.

“We are thrilled to cooperate with Fraunhofer IPA Stuttgart, a true powerhouse of industrial automation and applied research. This collaboration will set a new benchmark in multirobotic system design, especially for aerospace, construction, automotive, and carbon composite manufacturing.”
Yudhisthir Gauli, Founder, ARRTSM GmbH
